terms and conditions
PAYMENT: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required prior to the start of any designing. This allows me to begin to order any items that may be needed to complete your project (ex. envelopes, paper, ribbons, etc.). The deposit will be applied to the total amount due for the wedding invitations/other products. The remaining 50% will be due prior to printing the final agreed upon designs.
DESIGN: It is important to me that every piece of stationery I create is my own. Sending inspiration from Etsy, Pinterest, etc. to give an idea of your style is great!, but please, donโt send someone elseโs design and ask me to create a copy for you with your wording and colours. I will work to compile your ideas into your own unique design. Thanks for understanding.
PROOFS: Proofs of all of your designs will be sent to you for approval prior to any printing. It is my goal to guide you through the process as seamlessly as possible and for you to be 100% happy with your designs! I will continue to work with you on any changes or corrections that may be needed. Additional proof reviews will be complete within 2-3 business days. Your proof is ready for print when YOU say it is!
It is your responsibility to carefully review your proofs for any error. That includes: spelling, layout, website URLS, phone numbers, directions, etc. Once you give your final approval any errors are corrected at your expense.
Images and colors displayed on-screen may vary depending on monitors and what is shown may NOT be an exact representation of what will be printed.
TIMELINE: A timeline and estimated completion date will be given to you prior to the start of your designs. Graphically Yours will strive to work within this timeline, but it is important for the client to also cooperate in a timely manner. Graphically Yours will not be responsible for not meeting deadlines due to delayed client action or response to emails and proofs.
COPYRIGHT: All designs and concepts are property of Graphically Yours. Graphically Yours retains all rights to use the preliminary and completed designs for the purpose of display and social sharing, or for other clients, upon request.
CANCELLATION: If you decide to cancel the job prior to any part of it going to press, you agree to forfeit your deposit. Cancellations after the job has been sent to press will not be accepted. You cannot cancel any part of your job once the final design release contract has been signed. All quantities of each item provided in the final design release are covered by this clause upon acceptance of this contract. Any quantities lowered or items cancelled are at the sole discretion of Graphically Yours and will constitute forfeiture of that portion of the invoice.
DELIVERY: All shipping and postage will be assumed by the client. Graphically Yours is not responsible for any damages incurred during shipping and/or mailing, or invitations that are not delivered. Any shipping charges will be added to your final invoice. You may also pick-up your order in Ingersoll to avoid shipping charges.
POSTAGE: Invitations occasionally require additional postage because of their weight, or due to the shape of the finished piece. Graphically Yours is not responsible for invitations or stationery that is lost in the mail or is destroyed through the mailing process. Before applying stamps to your ready-to-mail invitations and stationery pieces, please have them weighed at the post office to ensure you are applying the correct amount of postage and to avoid invitations being sent back to you.
LETTERPRESS / ONE-OF-A-KIND/HAND-TORN STATIONERY/WAX SEAL DISCLAIMER: All of these pieces are carefully handmade, one piece at a time. Because of this, there may be slight variations in the product. The piece you receive may not be identical to the one before it. These small variations, which may be slight colour and / or paper texture, all add to the look and feel of each item. These reasons should not be misconstrued as flaws or defects. I will only consider replacing or refunding products if I feel that our product is technically defective.
